Today DronePort Eemshaven was officially opened by Groningen Seaports CEO Cas König and EMS Maritime Offshore Managing Director Marcel Diekmann.
DronePort Eemshaven is an initiative of the DroneQ Robotics, Offshore Wind Innovation Centre (OWIC), EMS Maritime Offshore and Groningen Seaports. The airport for drones is located at the Heliport Eemshaven and is aimed at the offshore wind sector. Training, developing and testing with drones and ROV’s will be an important part of the activities.
